Experiences + Web Campaigns

With a phenomenal rate of growth, browsing the web has risen to mass popularity in the last few years with broadband becoming mainstream. As a result a significant shift is happening from traditional media to online advertising. We appreciate this evolution... We are increasingly being contacted by advertising agencies to colaborate for specific campaigns, many of which present unique challenges and interest. In these collaborations we act as a production house. Our role is to devise a unique and most engaging online experience to deliver a campaign's message. Visuals and rich media are key players, but as always we pay a lot of attention to the technical aspect as well. Smart asset handling for instance will avoid loading sequences, hence improving the experience. Note the lack of loading sequences on the video driven Crysis project. Another example: for the Nokia campaign it was crucial to create a full screen, yet fast and smooth transition from planet to panorama and back despite the Flash rendering limitations. The solution was to implement a technique used in the gaming industry called 'offscreen buffering' where content is placed out of view and then frames of the content being transformed are captured and stored in memory. This may all seem trivial details, but they do make the difference.
